Valedictorian
Nathan Black

Nathan Black has been named Valedictorian of the Class of 2026. Nathan has distinguished himself through exceptional academic achievement, a strong commitment to his school community, and a clear vision for his future.
Throughout his high school career, Nathan consistently maintained his position at the top of his class while challenging himself with rigorous coursework, including advanced classes from his freshman through senior years. His dedication to academic excellence earned him numerous academic honors, including the RIT Computing Award, the Xerox Award for Innovation and Information Technology, and the Clarkson University HS Leadership Award.
Beyond the classroom, Nathan has been deeply involved in a wide range of school activities. He is an active member of the National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society, as well as the Future Business Leaders of America, Student Council, Foreign Language Club, and History Club. A committed student-athlete, Nathan also participated in athletics for many years, earning multiple soccer awards such as Most Improved and Most Dedicated.
Outside of school, Nathan has balanced his academic and extracurricular commitments with part-time work at Taco Bell and Mike’s on the Corner, while also volunteering within his community. These experiences have contributed to his strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.
In the fall, Nathan will attend Binghamton University, where he plans to study Computer Science.
Over the course of his high school years, Nathan has grown in confidence and determination, embracing challenges and striving to reach his full potential. His perseverance, ambition, and willingness to support others have set him apart as a leader among his peers.

Salutatorian
Cassidy Scholla

Cassidy Scholla has been named Salutatorian of the Class of 2026. Cassidy has distinguished herself through an outstanding combination of academic achievement, leadership, and extracurricular involvement.
Cassidy will attend St. Bonaventure University, where she plans to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus on social justice advocacy. Driven by a passion for communication and a natural ability to connect with others, she looks forward to using her voice to inform, advocate, and inspire.
During her high school career, Cassidy has been deeply involved in a wide range of activities. She has been a dedicated member of the track program for six years, earning MVP honors, winning a sectional championship, and setting a school record in the high jump. She has also demonstrated exceptional leadership as President and Secretary of the National Honor Society, Class President for four years, and President of FBLA. In addition, she has participated in soccer and the Investment Club, contributing positively to her school community.
Cassidy’s accomplishments extend beyond the classroom and playing field. She has been recognized with several prestigious honors, including the RIT Art Award, Scholar-Athlete distinction, the St. Bonaventure Scholar Award, and the George Eastman Young Leaders Award. These accolades reflect both her academic excellence and her commitment to leadership and service.

Senior Spotlight: Jeremiah Brown
After graduation, Jay plans to attend Alfred State College to study Game Design.
Jay’s role model is himself, and he would like to thank TK, Stack, and Charles for their support throughout high school.

Hannah attended the Criminal Justice program through BOCES and plans to enter the Navy after graduation.

After graduation, Alissa plans to attend Jamestown Community College and pursue a career in teaching.

Senior Spotlight: Landon Davenport
Landon will be attending Alfred State College to study Mechanical Engineering Technology.
A member of NHS, Landon challenged himself with advanced math and science coursework throughout high school. His role model is his dad, and he would like to thank Yeager, TK, and Mr. “Gym” Bowers for their support and guidance.

After graduation, Halle plans to attend college.

Michael attended the Auto Tech program through BOCES and plans to attend SUNY Westchester college after graduation.
